The game in Copenhagen was also worth to mention about. Fifth ranked Vaerlose (6-10) played at the court of 6th ranked SISU (3-13). Vaerlose managed to secure a 8-point victory 61-53. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But SISU won third quarter 13-9. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Vaerlose won last quarter 20-14. They also forced 22 SISU turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for international swingman Frida Formann (179-1) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds (made all of her seven free throws). International center Julianna Okosun (194-1) accounted for 11 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Forward Michala Bork (174-3) came up with 19 points and 4 steals and guard Taylor Gleason (173-95, college: Oakland) added 7 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists respectively for SISU in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Vaerlose maintains fifth place with 6-10 record. SISU lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 13 games lost. Vaerlose will play against bottom-ranked Lemvig (#7) at home in the next round. SISU will play against the league's leader Horsholm and hopes to get back on the winning track.
