Liga Nationala top team - Sf.Gheorghe (10-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed fifth ranked Brasov (2-9) in Sfantu Gheorghe 83-64. The game without a history. Sf.Gheorghe led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Sf.Gheorghe forced 21 Brasov turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American power forward Rebecca Tobin (195-88, college: ASU) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals. American-North Macedonian Chrissy Givens (180-85, college: MTSU) chipped in 21 points and 5 rebounds. Sf.Gheorghe's coach Zoran Mikes used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. American guard Camary Williams (165, college: Evansville) produced 11 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals and the other American import center Angela Beadle (190-93, college: SHSU) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four Sf.Gheorghe and five Brasov players scored in double figures. Sf.Gheorghe have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 10-0 record. Brasov lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with nine games lost. They share it with Cluj Napoca. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
