Regular Season Round 18: Mamak - Samsun 76-68

There was no surprise when 16th ranked Samsun (3-15) was defeated on the road by tenth ranked Mamak (10-8) 76-68 on Saturday. Mamak made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Samsun was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was forward Mustafa Gorur (204-88) who scored 28 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Swingman Ogun Sevinc (198-88) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds. Mamak's coach Murat Dikmen used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was North Macedonian center Predrag Samardziski (215-86, agency: BeoBasket) who recorded a double-double by scoring 24 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists and Croatian guard Ante Delas (200-88) added 7 points and 7 assists respectively. Mamak moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Bornova Bld and Manisa. Samsun lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with 15 games lost. Mamak will face Duzce Belediye (#13) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Samsun will play against Bandirma BK and hope to win that game.
