Regular Season Round 19: Schwabing - Bamberg 78-58

An interesting game for Schwabing (11-6) which hosted in Schwabing their biggest opponent Bamberg (11-7). Third ranked Schwabing had an easy win 78-58. It was a key game for the second position in South-East. Schwabing made 17-of-20 charity shots (85.0 percent) during the game. Schwabing outrebounded Bamberg 35-20 including 22 on the defensive glass. 26 personal fouls committed by Bamberg helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Tristan Da-Silva (203-1) fired a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Spanish guard Daniel Perez (187-1) chipped in 7 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Schwabing players scored in double figures. Guard Daniel Krause (194-88) produced 20 points and American power forward Robert Ferguson (203-85, college: St.Joseph's) added 9 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Schwabing have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place in South-East. Bamberg at the other side dropped to the third position with seven games lost. Schwabing's next round opponent will be TSV Troester (#6) in Breitenguessbach. Bamberg will play at home against Topstar and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
