Everything went according to plan in Deisenhofen where fifth ranked White Wings (11-8) won against 11th ranked Oberhaching (5-14) 101-93 on Saturday. White Wings made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Spanish guard Miguel Servera (198-92) fired 22 points and 7 assists for the winners. American forward Preston Beverly (201-96, college: PLNU) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. American-Czech point guard John Boyer (185-88, college: Buffalo) produced 21 points and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and naturalized American guard Omari Knox (188-86, college: Bloomfield) added 18 points respectively for lost side. Five White Wings and four Oberhaching players scored in double figures. Oberhaching's coach Mario Matic let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for White Wings. They moved-up to third place in South. Newly promoted Oberhaching keeps the eleventh position with 14 games lost. White Wings will face league's leader Elchingen at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Oberhaching will play against Fraport Skyliners II (#7) in Frankfurt and hope to win that game.
