Regular Season Round 19: Bad Aibling - Herzogenaurach 67-90

No shocking result in a game when eleventh ranked Herzogenaurach (7-10) crushed on the road 13th ranked Bad Aibling (6-13) 90-67 on Saturday. Herzogenaurach made 22-of-25 free shots (88.0 percent) during the game. Herzogenaurach had a 34-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a very good performance for American guard Larry Hall (190-83, college: W.Oregon) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists. Forward Patrick Horstmann (201-87, college: Keiser) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his eight free throws) for the winners. Five Herzogenaurach players scored in double figures. Guard Simon Bradaric answered with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 assists and Johannes Wienet added 10 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Bad Aibling. Bad Aibling's coach already knew that his team would not have a big chance, so allowed to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Herzogenaurach moved-up to tenth place in South-East, which they share with Regnitztal. Loser Bad Aibling dropped to the twelfth position with 13 games lost. Herzogenaurach will face Muenchen OSB (#14) on the road in the next round. Bad Aibling will play against Regnitztal and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
