There was an upset when higher ranked TSV Troester (9-6) was edged by ninth ranked Treuchtlingen (9-9) in Treutchlingen 70-68 on Saturday. It was a very good performance for forward Simon Geiselsoeder (189-91) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Stefan Schmoll (196-89) contributed with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Joerg Dippold (195-92) answered with 21 points and 6 rebounds and guard Alexander Engel (191-93) added 16 points and 7 assists in the effort for TSV Troester. TSV Troester's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Treuchtlingen have a solid series of four victories in a row.
