Everything went according to plan when first ranked ETV (16-1) outplayed bottom-ranked Weser Baskets (0-16) in Hamburg 93-61 on Sunday. ETV dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Weser Baskets' 32. ETV forced 34 Weser Baskets turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Weser Baskets' players. It was a very good performance for Lithuanian guard Vidmantas Uzkuraitis (189-85) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. American guard Tyseem Lyles (188, college: Mercy) contributed with 20 points and 4 assists for the winners. Forward Lukas Koehler (196-96) answered with 11 points and 8 rebounds and Montenegrin Mersudin Kosuta added 8 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Weser Baskets. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. ETV have an impressive series of sixteen victories in a row. They maintain first place in North with 16-1 record. Newly promoted Weser Baskets still closes the standings with 16 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
