Bottom-ranked Falcons is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 11th consecutive match to fifth ranked Basketball-Akademie (5-6) 109-62. Basketball-Akademie dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Falcons' 34 and had 29 for 42 from the free-throw line, while Falcons only scored thirteen points from the stripe. Basketball-Akademie forced 22 Falcons turnovers and outrebounded them 44-33 including a 36-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. 29 personal fouls committed by Falcons helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Nicolas Lagerman (192-1) who had a double-double by scoring 31 points and 12 rebounds. Point guard Tim Schneider (180-2) chipped in 23 points. Four Basketball-Akademie players scored in double figures. Emmanuel Ngan (189-1) produced 20 points and 7 rebounds and center Lukas Niederlich (198-1) added 12 points and 13 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Basketball-Akademie maintains fifth place in A South with 5-6 record. Falcons at the other side still closes the standings with 11 games lost. Basketball-Akademie's next round opponent will be league's second-placed FC Bayern in Muenchen and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Falcons will play on the road against the league's leader Ludwigsburg BBA (#1) and look forward to get finally their first victory.
