The game in Ankara was also worth to mention about. Seventh ranked Besiktas (7-7) played at the court of 8th ranked Turk Telekom (5-9). Besiktas managed to secure a 8-point victory 79-71. Besiktas forced 29 Turk Telekom turnovers. Strangely Turk Telekom outrebounded Besiktas 59-36 including a 22-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. 25 personal fouls committed by Turk Telekom helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The winners were led by Tolga Deliktas (-3) who scored that evening 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 blocks and forward Boray Bilgin (187-1) supported him with 18 points. Four Besiktas players scored in double figures. Even 19 points and 9 rebounds by point guard Batuhan Acar (-2) did not help to save the game for Turk Telekom. Guard Yigit Ozkan (191-1) added 10 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Besiktas moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Bandirma and TED Ankara. Turk Telekom lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with nine games lost. Besiktas' next round opponent will be Ozel Gelisim Koleji (#9) in Izmir. Turk Telekom will play at home against Darussafaka and hope to win that game.
