Not a big story in a game when 12th ranked Rendsburg (4-13) lost on the road to eighth ranked Stade (8-9) 83-65 on Sunday. It was a very good performance for Spanish point guard Nil Angelats (185-93) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 5 steals. American forward Reco McCarter (198-90, college: Campbell) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. Five Stade players scored in double figures. American guard Garrett Jefferson (190-91, college: CBU) answered with 17 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals and Lithuanian center Paulius Sakinis (203-95, college: Peru St., agency: Players Group) added 17 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) in the effort for Rendsburg. Rendsburg's coach Bjarne Homfeldt rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Stade moved-up to seventh place in North, which they share with Wusterhausen. Loser Rendsburg keeps the twelfth position with 13 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
