Regular Season Round 26: KDPU - DYUSH-DOR 116-55

Higher League top team - KDPU (22-2) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed eighth ranked DYUSH-DOR (3-17) in Kryvyi Rih 116-55. The game without a history. KDPU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to DYUSH-DOR's 24 and made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. KDPU forced 21 DYUSH-DOR turnovers and outrebounded them 51-34 including a 36-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by DYUSH-DOR's players. DYUSH-DOR was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Stanislav Serpilin (193-93) scored 21 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Sergiy Starcev chipped in 18 points and 5 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) during the contest. Five KDPU players scored in double figures. Center Pavlo Riazantsev (202-95) responded with 10 points and 8 rebounds and guard Danylo Bychkovyy (188-1) scored 7 points and 5 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. KDPU maintains first position with 22-2 record. DYUSH-DOR lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 17 games lost. KDPU will have a break next round. DYUSH-DOR will play at home against the league's second-placed Niko-Basket (#2) and hope to win that game.
