Regular Season Round 19: Samsun - Bandirma BK 69-77

Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked Bandirma BK (12-7) defeated on the road bottom-ranked Samsun (3-16) 77-69 on Saturday. It was an exceptional evening for guard Eray Akyuz (187-0) who led the winners and scored 40 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Albanian Ercan Osmani (206-98) accounted for 17 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. North Macedonian center Predrag Samardziski (215-86, agency: BeoBasket) came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds and forward Oguzhan Sungur (205-91) added 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Samsun in the defeat. Five Samsun players scored in double figures. Bandirma BK moved-up to third place, which they share with Final Spor and Merkezefendi. Samsun lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost. They share it with Ankara B.. Bandirma BK will meet at home Duzce Belediye (#14) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Samsun will play against Gemlik in Bursa and hope to secure a win.
