ProA top team - Chemnitz (23-1) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed tenth ranked Rostock (11-14) 109-82. Chemnitz dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Rostock's 28. Chemnitz had a 15-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 36 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Rostock's players. 27 personal fouls committed by Rostock helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American players dominated the game. Forward Ivan Elliott (203-86, college: UCSB) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Terrell Harris (191-93, college: Georgia Coll., agency: Players Group) contributed with 14 points and 6 assists for the winners. Five Chemnitz players scored in double figures. Guard Zach Lofton (193-92, college: N.Mexico St.) replied with 39 points (!!!) and swingman Donte Nicholas (196-87, college: Fresno Pacific) added 16 points and 4 assists in the effort for Rostock. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Chemnitz have an impressive 21-game winning streak.
