Regular Season Round 20: Coburg - Baunach 57-90

There was a minor upset when one of their biggest challengers Coburg (10-9) was outleveled at home by sixth ranked Baunach (10-9) 90-57 on Saturday. Baunach forced 19 Coburg turnovers. Nicholas Tischler (198-0) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points and 5 assists. Point guard Marvin Heckel (190-97) contributed with 15 points and 5 assists for the winners. Four Baunach players scored in double figures. Baunach's coach Mario Dugandzic felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. French Tidjane Keita (208-96) replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and Daniel Urbano (200-95) added 14 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Coburg. Baunach moved-up to fifth place in South, which they share with defeated Coburg. Coburg lost fourth consecutive game. Baunach will face OrangeAcademy (#9) in Ulm in the next round. Coburg will play on the road against Oberhaching (#11) in Deisenhofen and hope to win that game.
