TKBL top team - Emlak Konut (17-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fourteenth ranked Sakarya Y. (6-14) 88-58. Emlak Konut dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Sakarya Y.'s 26. Emlak Konut forced 22 Sakarya Y. turnovers and outrebounded them 48-30 including a 39-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Emlak Konut players were unselfish on offense dishing 33 assists. The winners were led by Nihal Gungor (-90) who scored that evening 19 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international forward Deniz Colakoglu (185-87, agency: 1andBox Sports Agency) supported her with 20 points and 7 rebounds. Emlak Konut's coach Vedat Saglik felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 19 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists by forward Doga Comba (185-94, agency: 1andBox Sports Agency) did not help to save the game for Sakarya Y.. The former international forward Nazli Guler (184-82) added 19 points and 6 rebounds for the hosts. Emlak Konut have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted Emlak Konut maintains first position with 17-3 record. Sakarya Y. at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fourteenth place with 14 games lost. Emlak Konut will play against Mardin BSB (#4) in the next round. Sakarya Y. will play against Bayrakli (#6) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
