Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked Bramsche TuS (5-13) lost at home to third ranked Goetting.ASC (14-4) 87-71 on Saturday. Goetting.ASC forced 21 Bramsche TuS turnovers. Guard Andrew Onwuegbuzie (192-95) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points. Center Nikolas Schultz (206-99) contributed with 11 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American swingman Kendall Timmons (195-90, college: Tulane) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 18 rebounds and 5 assists and Croatian power forward Sasha Cuic (208-83, college: Oregon St.) added 13 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Bramsche TuS. Four Bramsche TuS players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Goetting.ASC have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain third position in North with 14-4 record having 3 victories less than leader Ansbach. Bramsche TuS lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eleventh place with 13 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
