Bottom-ranked Braga is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their 18th consecutive match to twelfth ranked Benfica B (5-14) 92-62 on Sunday evening. Benfica B outrebounded Braga 52-33 including a 38-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Braga's players. It was an exceptional evening for international power forward Goncalo Delgado (203-98) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 15 rebounds and 7 assists. American forward Tony Anderson-II (206-97, college: SEMO) accounted for 22 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. Four Benfica B players scored in double figures. Sidney Correia came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 15 rebounds and Josimar Cassama (196-99) added 16 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Braga in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Benfica B maintains twelfth place with 5-14 record. Braga lost their eighteenth game in a row. They still close the standings. Benfica B's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Lisbon to the arena Belenenses CF.
