Rather predictable result when ninth ranked Vilniaus KM II (6-11) defeated at home 11th ranked Marijampoles (3-14) 74-62 on Tuesday. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 43-30 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Vilniaus KM II dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Marijampoles' 20. Vilniaus KM II forced 19 Marijampoles turnovers and outrebounded them 42-29 including 27 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was guard Rokas Jaseliunas (178-2) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Linas Savickas (183-2) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Mantvydas Kalinauskas (185-3) who recorded 20 points and Giedrius Mickevicius (-2) added 13 points and 8 rebounds respectively.
