The game between closely ranked teams ended with seventh ranked Delikatesas' (17-16) home victory over 8th ranked Perlas (14-19) 81-72 on Thursday. Delikatesas forced 23 Perlas turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Eimantas Stankevicius (192-98, agency: Octagon Europe) stepped up and scored 25 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and Giedrius Stankevicius (207-96) chipped in 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Center Ignas Juskevicius (200-91) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 16 rebounds and forward Simas Jarumbauskas (198-0, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Perlas players scored in double figures. Delikatesas moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Zalgiris II. Perlas lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 19 games lost. Delikatesas will face Zalgiris II (#5) in Kaunas in the next round. Perlas will play at home against Silute and hope to win that game.
