Regular Season Round 22: Mladost ZE - Kolubara 92-69

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 7th ranked Kolubara's (10-12) road loss to sixth ranked Mladost ZE (13-9) 69-92 on Friday. The game without a history. Mladost ZE led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Kolubara's 28. Mladost ZE looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American guard Trey Drechsel (198-96, college: GCU) fired a double-double by scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Stefan Sajin (205-93) chipped in a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds. Four Mladost ZE players scored in double figures. Power forward Aleksandar Vuletic (202-86, college: Indian Hills CC) produced 7 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists and point guard Nikola Simic (191-88) added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Mladost ZE moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Zlatibor and Dynamic VP. Newly promoted Kolubara keeps the seventh position with 12 games lost. They share it with Napredak. Mladost ZE will meet OKK Beograd (#13) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Kolubara will play against the league's leader Borac (#1) and hope to secure a win.
