An interesting game took place in Ankara where higher ranked Balikesir (9-11) was upset on the court of fifteenth ranked Ankara B. (4-16) 85-74 on Friday. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Desi Washington (188-92, college: St.Peter's) who helped to win the game recording 33 points (!!!) and 5 assists and guard Ihsan-Yalcin Azizmahmutogullari (188-82) who added 14 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Ankara B.'s coach Ahmet Arif Turhan used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. American point guard Myles Mack (178-93, college: Rutgers, agency: HMS) responded with 33 points (!!!) and 8 assists and guard Gokhan Aydin (191-95) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Newly promoted Ankara B. maintains fifteenth position with 4-16 record, which they share with Samsun. Balikesir lost seventh consecutive game. Balikesir at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the eleventh place with 11 games lost. Ankara B. will face higher ranked Final Spor (#5) in Bursa in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
