There was a small surprise when twelfth ranked Yalova Bld (9-11) defeated at home 10th ranked Bornova Bld (10-10) 65-55 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Alihan Genc (189-98) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists and American point guard Keshun Sherrill (175-94, college: Augusta, agency: Interperformances) who added 20 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Bosnian-Slovenian center Hasan Rizvic (212-84) responded with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and Ege Yasar (-96) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Yalova Bld moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Balikesir. Bornova Bld lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the eighth position with ten games lost. Yalova Bld will face higher ranked Konyaspor (#9) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
