Regular Season Round 20: Braga - Ginasio 56-71

Bottom-ranked Braga (0-20) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 71-56 loss to sixth ranked Ginasio (12-9) in on Saturday evening. Worth to mention a great performance of Cape Verdean swingman Evandro Delgado (194-94) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 31 points and 10 rebounds and the former international guard Jose Costa (187-73) who added 20 points during the contest. Sidney Correia responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 20 rebounds and Josimar Cassama (196-99) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. Braga's coach rotated eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ginasio moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Sampaense and Academica. Loser Braga still closes the standings. Ginasio will meet at home Belenenses CF (#7) in the next round. Braga will play against the league's second-placed Povoa (#2) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
