This time they lost on the road their 18th consecutive match to third ranked Galatasaray (13-3) 95-56 on Saturday evening. Galatasaray outrebounded Canik Belediye 41-25 including a 32-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 37 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Canik Belediye's players. The former international guard Funda Nakkasoglu (173-95, college: Florida) fired 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. The former international forward Sinem Atas (185-95) chipped in 8 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Galatasaray players scored in double figures. Coach Efe Guven's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. American center Stephanie Madden (186-88, college: Langston) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds and Aysu Keskin (-90) added 16 points and 9 assists respectively for lost side.
