Forward Liudmyla Spyrydonova (180-84) nailed a double-double by scoring 16 points and 22 rebounds for the winning side and the former international guard Viktoriya Shmatova (172-87) accounted for 19 points and 6 rebounds. Tatyana Panchenko came up with 29 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Viktoriya Kovalevska (170-99) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Chaika in the defeat. The victory was the third consecutive win for Rivne. They maintain third place with 8-7 record having nine points less than leader Kyiv Basket. Chaika lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the bottom position with 13 games lost. Rivne will meet at home Interkhim (#4) in the next round. Chaika will play against the league's leader Kyiv Basket and hope to secure a win.
