Second Stage Round 6: TED Ankara - Tofas 75-73

The most exciting game of round 6 in the U19 League took place in Ankara. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of higher ranked Tofas (12-4) to seventh ranked TED Ankara (8-8) 75-73 on Sunday evening. TED Ankara looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Guard Alperen Ercan (191-1) scored 9 points, 6 rebounds and 14 assists to lead the charge for the winners and center Cihat Dalgali (205-1) chipped in 14 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Four TED Ankara players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Omer Yavas (203-1) with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and forward Temel Keskindemir (205-1) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. Tofas' coach Semih Soguksu tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. TED Ankara moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Bandirma. Tofas at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. TED Ankara is looking forward to face Ozel Gelisim Koleji (#8) in Izmir in the next round. Tofas will play on the road against Besiktas (#7) in Istanbul and is hoping to win this game.
