There was no surprise when 8th ranked Stade (8-11) was defeated at home by second ranked Wolmirstedt (15-3) 67-60 on Sunday. Point guard Steffen Haufs (188-95) stepped up and scored 12 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and forward Maximilian Rockmann (198-88, college: UMKC) chipped in 13 points. Wolmirstedt's coach Eiko Potthast allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was Spanish point guard Nil Angelats (185-93) with 18 points and 8 rebounds and power forward Christopher Kleinkes (207-0) scored 7 points and 10 rebounds. Wolmirstedt have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place in North with 15-3 record having five points less than leader Ansbach.
