An interesting game for Bakken (18-3) which hosted in Risskov 4th placed Svendborg (11-11). First ranked Bakken managed to get a 4-point victory 87-83. Svendborg was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Senegalese center Michel Diouf (208-89) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and American forward Ryan Evans (202-90, college: Wisconsin) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American power forward Durell Vinson (202-85, college: Wagner) with 17 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import guard Brandon Norfleet (196-93, college: Indiana, PA, agency: Inception Sports) scored 15 points and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Bakken have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 18-3 record. Svendborg lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth position with 11 games lost. Bakken will play against Horsens IC (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Svendborg will play against the league's second-placed Randers and hopes to get back on the winning track.
