Bottom-ranked Oradea (0-15) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 15th consecutive match to ninth ranked Phoenix Constanta (11-6) 108-57 on Friday evening. The game without a history. Phoenix Constanta led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Oradea's 38. Phoenix Constanta forced 29 Oradea turnovers and outrebounded them 39-18 including a 22-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. Phoenix Constanta looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Boogie Brozoski (168-97, college: Hofstra) who had a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 5 rebounds, 11 assists and 6 steals. The other American import guard Donasja Scott (180-97, college: Glenville St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds. Montenegrin center Teodora Saric (190-98) produced 16 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Ruxandra Chis (176-93) added 8 points, 11 assists and 6 steals respectively for the hosts. Phoenix Constanta have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place. Loser Oradea still closes the standings with 15 games lost. Phoenix Constanta will meet at home Agronomia (#11) in the next round. Oradea will have a break next round.
