Neptunas-Akv. (#4) was upset in Vilnius by eighth ranked Perlas 88-78. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Augustas Marciulionis (192-2) who scored 24 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Power forward Einaras Tubutis (205-98) chipped in 19 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Center Vytautas Sarakauskas (204-82) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and Dovydas Romancenko (206-98) added 18 points respectively for the guests. Five Perlas and four Neptunas-Akv. players scored in double figures. Neptunas-Akv.'s coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Perlas maintains eighth position with 15-21 record. Loser Neptunas-Akv. keeps the fourth place with 16 games lost. Perlas will meet at home league's second-placed Telsiai in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Neptunas-Akv. will play against Vytis and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
