Regular Season Round 21: Oberhaching - Coburg 84-96

No shocking result in a game in Deisenhofen where sixth ranked Coburg (11-9) won against 11th ranked Oberhaching (6-15) 96-84 on Saturday. French Tidjane Keita (208-96) stepped up and scored 22 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) for the winners and point guard Constantin Ebert (184-96) chipped in 22 points and 8 assists. Four Coburg players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was naturalized American guard Omari Knox (188-86, college: Bloomfield) with 30 points and 7 rebounds and center Moritz Wohlers (203-84, college: MSUB) scored 8 points and 8 rebounds. Oberhaching's coach Mario Matic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Coburg moved-up to fifth place in South. Newly promoted Oberhaching keeps the eleventh position with 15 games lost. Coburg will face Bayern 2 (#9) in Muenchen in the next round. Oberhaching will play on the road against Speyer and hope to win that game.
