Everything went according to plan in Adana where fourth ranked Mardin BSB (17-6) beat 11th ranked Botas (8-14) 71-64. They outrebounded Botas 50-39 including a 18-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Mardin BSB players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. American forward Dejza James (185-95, college: Arizona) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists. Pelin Kuccuk (172-90, agency: 1andBox Sports Agency) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Mardin BSB's coach Selen Erdem allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American center Tearra Banks (188-95, college: Austin Peay) answered with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds and Hatice Gulcelik (178-2) added 13 points and 5 assists in the effort for Botas. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Mardin BSB. They maintain fourth place with 17-6 record. Newly promoted Botas keeps the eleventh position with 14 games lost.
