We should mention about the upset which took place in Istanbul, where higher ranked Darussafaka (12-9) lost to fourteenth ranked Acibadem (7-14) in a road game 87-91. Acibadem made 22-of-26 charity shots (84.6 percent) during the game. Acibadem had a 34-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. American point guard Trae Golden (189-91, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Network Sports International) nailed a double-double by scoring 24 points, 7 rebounds and 13 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) for the winning side and Australian-South Sudanese center Mangok Mathiang (208-92, college: Louisville) accounted for 21 points and 11 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). The former international point guard Kartal Ozmizrak (189-95, agency: BeoBasket) came up with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and Trinidad and Tobago center Johnny Hamilton (213-94, college: UT Arlington) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Darussafaka in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Darussafaka's coach Selcuk Ernak tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Acibadem maintains fourteenth place with 7-14 record. Darussafaka at the other side keeps the sixth position with nine games lost. Acibadem's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Pinar Karsiyaka on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
