Regular Season Round 19: Leotar - Mladost 90-85

The game between closely ranked teams ended with sixth ranked Leotar's (10-9) home victory over 7th ranked Mladost (8-11) 90-85. Leotar forced 20 Mladost turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was an exceptional evening for the former international point guard Marko Rikalo (187-94) who led the winners and scored 35 points (!!!) and 7 assists. Center Djordje Ninkovic (210-91) accounted for 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Power forward Srdjan Milanovic (204-95) came up with 12 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Srdjan Gavric (195-95) added 11 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for Mladost in the defeat. Four Leotar and five Mladost players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Leotar moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Bratunac. Mladost at the other side keeps the seventh position with 11 games lost. Leotar's next round opponent will be Promo (#11) in Vakuf which should be theoretically an easy game. Mladost will play at home against Spars (#3) and hope to win that game.
