Regular Season Round 20: Adana Basket - Elazig 82-68

There was a small surprise when ninth ranked Adana Basket (8-10) defeated at home 7th ranked Elazig (8-8) 82-68. Adana Basket players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The winners were led by American center Danielle Adams (185-89, college: Texas A&M) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 31 points and 15 rebounds and the other American import swingman Alexis Prince (188-94, college: Baylor, agency: LBM Management) supported her with 19 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists. Even 33 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 6 assists by American point guard Riquna Williams (170-90, college: Miami, FL) did not help to save the game for Elazig. Czech-American power forward Kia Vaughn (193-87, college: Rutgers, agency: Wasserman) added 8 points and 12 rebounds for the guests. Adana Basket moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Besiktas. Newly promoted Elazig keeps the seventh position with eight games lost. Adana Basket's next round opponent will be Besiktas (#8) in Istanbul.
