The game between Top Four teams took place in Miercurea Ciuc. 3rd ranked host Miercurea Ciuc (3-13) lost to first ranked Constanta (7-9) 80-71. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Miercurea Ciuc won third quarter 27-22. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Constanta forced 21 Miercurea Ciuc turnovers. American guard Siler Schneider (190, college: UC Davis, agency: One Motive Sports) fired 21 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. Mali-Canadian guard Mambi Diawara (194-94, college: Calgary) produced 26 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals and Canadian forward Meshack Lufile (203-92, college: Cape Breton) added 20 points and 11 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Miercurea Ciuc players scored in double figures. Constanta maintains first position with 7-9 record. Miercurea Ciuc lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the third place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Marmatiei. Constanta will meet at home league's second-placed Targu Jiu in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Miercurea Ciuc will play against Marmatiei and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
