Regular Season Round 30: Ternopil-TNEU - Ch.Mavpy 2 108-60

Higher League top team - Ternopil-TNEU (23-5) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed eighth ranked Ch.Mavpy 2 (5-23) 108-60. The game without a history. Ternopil-TNEU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Ch.Mavpy 2's 22. Ternopil-TNEU forced 23 Ch.Mavpy 2 turnovers and outrebounded them 48-26 including a 33-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Ternopil-TNEU looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Ch.Mavpy 2's players. It was a good game for forward Maxim Nikitin (201-89) who led his team to a victory with 16 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Point guard Ivan Dudar (180-98) contributed with 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Five Ternopil-TNEU players scored in double figures. Ternopil-TNEU's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Sergiy Melnyk (190-1) replied with 11 points and 7 rebounds and Yaroslav Voytovych (202-99) added 10 points in the effort for Ch.Mavpy 2. Ternopil-TNEU have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 23-5 record. Loser Ch.Mavpy 2 keeps the eighth place with 23 games lost. Ternopil-TNEU will face league's second-placed Rivne on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
