No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Gargzdu (18-18) defeated on the road 12th ranked Jonava (14-22) 92-83 on Thursday. Gargzdu made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was swingman Mantas Ruikis (197-85) who scored 32 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Laurynas Mikalauskas (205-85, college: Virginia) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international forward Martynas Linkevicius (197-85, agency: Agency) who recorded a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and Modestas Zaunieriunas (189-94) added 15 points and 8 assists respectively. Four Jonava players scored in double figures. Gargzdu maintains ninth place with 18-18 record. Loser Jonava dropped to the thirteenth position with 22 games lost.
