The game between closely ranked teams ended with 5th ranked Linz Wels' (3-10) road loss to fourth ranked Flying Foxes (7-6) 60-71. Flying Foxes forced 20 Linz Wels turnovers. It was a very good performance for guard Diana Picorusevic (160-92) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points, 5 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals. Forward Natalie Kalaydjiev (181-1) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Four Flying Foxes players scored in double figures. Power forward Marlies Kolin (179-92) replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and guard Simone Schwarzinger (177-96) added 15 points in the effort for Linz Wels. Flying Foxes maintains fourth position in Places 4-6 with 7-6 record. Linz Wels at the other side keep the fifth place with ten games lost. Flying Foxes will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Linz Wels will play at home against Timberwolves (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
