Everything went according to plan in Essen where twelfth ranked Grevenbroich (9-15) beat 14th ranked ETB Wohnbau (1-24) 95-89 on Saturday. It was a great evening for forward Bastian Becker (196-89) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. American guard Troy Harper (185-95, college: Drexel, agency: Scorers 1st Sportmanagement) helped adding 22 points. British power forward Radwan Bakkali (208-96, college: Indianapolis) responded with 22 points and 9 rebounds and guard Adam Hamad (182-98) scored 16 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Four Grevenbroich and five ETB Wohnbau players scored in double figures. Grevenbroich moved-up to eleventh place in West, which they share with Wulfen. ETB Wohnbau lost their seventh game in a row. They keep the fourteenth position with 24 games lost. Grevenbroich will face league's leader Koeln Rh.Stars at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
