Regular Season Round 23: TSV Troester - Jena 2 57-53

No shocking result in a game in Breitenguessbach where second ranked TSV Troester (13-6) won against 5th ranked Jena 2 (12-10) 57-53 on Saturday. TSV Troester forced 20 Jena 2 turnovers. It was a great evening for guard Alexander Engel (191-93) who led his team to a victory scoring 14 points. Forward Nikolas Reichmann helped adding 14 points and 6 rebounds. Serbian point guard Vuk Radojicic (185-1) responded with 18 points and 4 steals and American Vincent Garrett (198-91, college: Green Bay) scored 6 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for TSV Troester. They maintain second place in South-East with 13-6 record having eight points less than leader Ansbach. Loser Jena 2 keeps the fifth position with ten games lost. TSV Troester will face Herzogenaurach (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Jena 2 will play against the league's leader Ansbach (#1) and hope to win that game.
