Regular Season Round 24: Mardin BSB - Edremit 76-75

Seventh-ranked Edremit (13-10) made lots of trouble for fourth ranked Mardin BSB (18-6). Mardin BSB managed to secure only one-point victory 76-75. However their fans expected easier game. Mardin BSB players were unselfish on offense dishing 32 assists. It was a good game for American forward Dejza James (185-95, college: Arizona) who saved her team from a defeat with 23 points and 5 rebounds. Sehernaz Cidal (183-95) contributed with 14 points and 9 assists for the winners. Mardin BSB's coach Selen Erdem allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American Jessica Jackson (192-95, college: Arkansas) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and Revaziye Donmez (-88) added 15 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in the effort for Edremit. Mardin BSB have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Emlak Konut. Edremit at the other side dropped to the eighth position with ten games lost. Mardin BSB will play against Sakarya Y. (#14) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Edremit will play against the league's leader Nesibe (#1) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
