Very expected game in Bursa where 12th ranked Gaziantep (3-16) was defeated by third ranked Tofas (15-4) 87-72 on Saturday. Tofas forced 22 Gaziantep turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Forward Temel Keskindemir (205-1) stepped up and scored 13 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and guard Ata Atsuren (190-2) chipped in 17 points. Tofas' coach Semih Soguksu used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was Mehmet Huyuk (-3) with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds and Ahmet Ozkan (-1) scored 12 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Tofas have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain third place with 15-4 record behind leader Tesvikiye. Gaziantep lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with 16 games lost. Tofas will face TAC NEF (#4) in Tarsus in the next round. Gaziantep will play at home against Ozel Gelisim Koleji (#9) and hope to win that game.
