There was no surprise when 14th ranked Sakarya Y. (6-18) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Antalya 07 (16-8) 81-69. Antalya 07 players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The winners were led by American guard Loryn Goodwin (175-94, college: Oklahoma St.) who had that evening a triple-double by scoring 29 points, 17 rebounds, 14 assists and 5 steals and naturalized Swedish guard Meryem Gultekin (166-90) supported her with 18 points and 4 assists. Antalya 07's coach Riza Darendelioglu used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 14 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists by the former international forward Nazli Guler (184-82) did not help to save the game for Sakarya Y.. Yagmur Tasar (173-99) added 16 points and 7 assists. Four Sakarya Y. players scored in double figures. Antalya 07 have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 16-8 record. Sakarya Y. lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fourteenth place with 18 games lost.
