Regular Season Round 23: Dorsten - Wulfen 89-79

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when eleventh ranked Dorsten (9-14) defeated at home 10th ranked BSV Wulfen (9-15) 89-79 on Saturday. Dorsten made 27-of-32 free shots (84.4 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for American guard Mike Nwabuzor (188, college: N.Mexico Highlands) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. British Samuel Egedi (198-95, college: Harris-Stowe St.) helped adding 23 points and 7 rebounds. Nwabuzor is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American point guard Bryant Allen (183-90, college: Dakota St.) responded with 24 points and 4 assists and guard Jonas Kleinert (186-98) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. Five Dorsten and four BSV Wulfen players scored in double figures. Dorsten moved-up to tenth place in West. BSV Wulfen lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the eleventh position with 15 games lost. Dorsten will face higher ranked Dragons Rhoendorf (#3) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. BSV Wulfen will play against Hagen-Haspe (#13) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
