There was a surprise result when eleventh ranked Oberhaching (7-15) outscored on the road higher ranked Speyer (9-12) 79-60 on Saturday. Naturalized American guard Omari Knox (188-86, college: Bloomfield) fired 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Chris Wurmseher (192-97) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds. Four Oberhaching players scored in double figures. Dominican-Spanish power forward Michel Acosta (201-92) produced 18 points and 9 rebounds and forward Matthias Meier (196-97) added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Speyer's coach Carl Mbassa gave the chance to play for ten players seeing no chance for a win. Newly promoted Oberhaching maintains eleventh position in South with 7-15 record. Speyer at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the ninth place with 12 games lost.
