Regular Season Round 23: Bramsche TuS - Langenhagen 73-90

Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked Langenhagen (14-6) beat on the road 10th ranked Bramsche TuS (6-15) 90-73 on Saturday. Langenhagen shot 27 for 36 from the free-throw line, while Bramsche TuS only scored ten points from the stripe. Bramsche TuS was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for point guard Tim Brauner (185-91) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 7 rebounds. American point guard Devon Moore (193-89, college: JMU) helped adding 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Langenhagen players scored in double figures. Croatian power forward Sasha Cuic (208-83, college: Oregon St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds and American swingman Kendall Timmons (195-90, college: Tulane) scored 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Langenhagen. They moved-up to fourth place in North, which they share with Aschersleben. Newly promoted Bramsche TuS keeps the tenth position with 15 games lost. Langenhagen will face Rendsburg (#12) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Bramsche TuS will play against the league's second-placed Wolmirstedt and hope to win that game.
