The game in Dnipro supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Politekhnik (15-9) played at the court of 7th ranked DYUSH-DOR (5-21). Politekhnik smashed DYUSH-DOR 99-55 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Politekhnik. DYUSH-DOR managed to win second period 10-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Politekhnik dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to DYUSH-DOR's 28 and made 18-of-19 free shots (94.7 percent) during the game. They outrebounded DYUSH-DOR 59-32 including a 42-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. Sergiy Miasoedov (190-94) responded with 9 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and center Pavlo Riazantsev (202-95) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Politekhnik have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 15-9 record. Loser DYUSH-DOR keeps the seventh place with 21 games lost. Politekhnik will meet at home league's leader KDPU in the next round and it may be the game of the week. DYUSH-DOR will have a break next round.
