They outrebounded Gaziantep 38-27 including 25 on the defensive glass. Anadolu Efes looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of international guard Ahmet Tuncer (193-93) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 5 assists. German center Tibor Pleiss (217-89) contributed with 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Five Anadolu Efes players scored in double figures. Croatian power forward Ivan Buva (208-91) replied with 18 points and 5 rebounds and Serbian power forward Stevan Jelovac (208-89, agency: BeoBasket) added 16 points in the effort for Gaziantep. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Anadolu Efes have a solid four-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Gaziantep at the other side keeps the eleventh place with 14 games lost. Gaziantep will play next round against Bandirma trying to get back on the winning streak. Anadolu Efes will try to continue on its current victory against ninth ranked Turk Telekom in Ankara.
